In June of 2009, Brigadier General Michael Walsh testified at a Senate hearing on the condition of the levees in New Orleans, and was consistently addressing Senator Barbara Boxer of California as “Ma’am,” in accordance with military protocol. Boxer however found it offensive enough to stop him, saying, “Could you say ’senator’ instead of ‘ma’am? It’s just a thing. I worked so hard to get that title. So, I’d appreciate it.”
Well Ma'am, just be happy that you're not called something else less appropriate!
This video is spoof of that exchange and properly puts Boxer in her place.
The arrogance of the woman knows no bounds. Hopefully she gets voted out in November.
